Laura was born and raised in Park Slope, Brooklyn, NY. Living in a historic district, growing up with creatives as neighbors and surrounded by magnificent architecture, Laura would take long walks, nurturing her artistic spirit at the local museum, gardens, park and library. Laura knew she was destined to be an artist. At a very young age, after sketching her first “legit” picture and receiving accolades from her family, Laura never put down her pencil nor gave up on her dream. A young child devoted to Saturday morning cartoons as well as the big comics section of the NY Sunday Daily News, she would spend hours practicing her drawing skills by copying what she saw.

Laura has been sketching, designing, and causing manufacture for over 25 years, for individuals, corporations, and celebrity clients. She designed brands in Baby/Child, Health & Beauty and Home Décor and transforms clients’ dreams into distinctive brands and product lines. Laura received nominations at the Int’l Gift Fair (NY Now in Beauty & Wellness) for “Outstanding Innovation and Design” for both Brand Image and Booth Design, her very first entrance into the market.

From design to build-out, Laura created a hair salon franchise system where the salon’s fixtures were built entirely off-site and then set on-site within days, accelerating opening. Her handcrafted Holiday Home Décor and Ornaments line have been sold at prestige retail in the USA, Canada and abroad, including catalogs, and have been featured in many publications. She has brought product to QVC. Her love of drawing and illustration are closest to her heart. “Creating original characters, picture books and product lines for baby/child remains one of my greatest joys, for you will always find a piece of my childhood within.”
